With the changing season, I’m seeing ideas blossom, people around me opening up their minds to new possibilities. My mom recently told me she’s realized she doesn’t need anyone’s approval for being who she is, that she’s less worried about being thought of as “nice”, and that she’s going camping, alone, to the Maricao State Forest in Puerto Rico. My fiancé is getting ready for amazing solo adventure himself, after re-routing his bike tour (from our home in central Virginia to Atlanta!) heading south on the Blue Ridge Parkway instead of regular back roads, which will add many miles, elevation gain, and jaw-dropping views to his trip. A friend told me, "I've decided to go on a solo adventure on my own... and I already told my husband".

You can’t help but feel empowered when you see people living unrestrictedly, doing what gives them purpose and/or making a difference in the world. I invite you to channel that empowerment and transform it into action to change the course of your life. It only takes one honest decision to unlock the door to your untapped potential.
